Nothing Fancy, But it WorksJan 18, 2011
By Josh This was pretty much what I expected, a thin nylon case with no padding. It seems reasonably well made, and fits a standard sized Stratocaster with maybe only an inch of extra play to it, so be careful if your instrument is significantly larger. Some padding would be nice, but I don't travel much with my guitar, and I just wanted the cheapest option to prevent scratches. This looks like it will suit my purposes fine, and the price was right.

Guitar bagMar 01, 2011
My grandmother brought the guitar bag for me and I really like it. It has comfortable straps to carry my guitar in and it felt nice. Also it has pockets for anything like my picks, notes and stuff. It's nice.

Puts a handle on your guitarOct 14, 2011

I bought this bag as a way to carry my guitar from one part of the building to another (like the other reviewers said here, this bag is not padded and would offer little protection for travelers), and for that purpose it works great and was a really inexpensive solution. There is a handle on the side of the body placed so that the neck of my guitar was at a 45 degree angle to the floor when I carried it. It also had two straps on the back of the body, allowing you to carry it like a backpack, a feature I found very helpful! Three drawbacks for me were: * The maker's logo is embroidered with big white letters on the front of the bag. I don't really feel any affinity for the Burswood brand, but it feels like I'm carrying a big ad for them on my guitar. * The pouch on the front is snug. I had to really smoosh my 8.5x11 music folder into the bag in order to close the zipper. There's no way a bigger music book would fit in there without sticking out the top of the pocket. * I hope this will go away, but when it arrived the bag smelled exactly like the guy no one wants to sit next to on the public bus. If you need something to travel with, spend a little extra for a padded bag. But if you are looking for something to make carrying your guitar easier or, as others have said, protect it from dust and spills, this is a very economical solution.

Best Bag for the Money (See hanger photo)Aug 30, 2011

I have a few guitars that just needed to get out of the dust because these are my players, (I have a very large collection that are all in hard shell cases) and the Burswood bags are perfect for the guitars I hang and use on a regular bases. They have a pouch in front, carry handle, and back pack straps and they are all well reinforced and cross stitched so that you can trust them when yanking the guitar up to carry it, and the two zippers open the bag all the way so it is easy to get the guitar in and out. The material is of medium thickness (not thin) and it is very well put together. I use the bags for all types of electric guitars, and they all fit with no problems. You can store your guitars on a stand, hung by the carry handle, or on a wall hanger like I have shown on the included product picture. I use a piece of velcro strap right under the head just to make it easier to hang on an (Off The Wall) hanger which is the only type of hanger I will use. I have ordered another 6 of these bags for a total of 10. What else can I say; for 8 bucks? I have not found a better bag for less money in the past 10 years.

simple bagAug 30, 2011
By ax-man I bought this bag as a cheap way to keep dust off the ax. it has no padding, else it is a good value for your dollar. Fender bags are 30 bucks and are padded.
